5/3/2023: Due to materials, we have brough back the 3/8 carbide driver. Both sizes function great, just have to have options as materials can be hard to find reasonably.
4/19/2023: PLEASE READ!!!! This is for an SDS and SDS Plus driver. SDS and SDS Plus are interchangeable. The difference is that SDS Plus have 4 splines in the shank that hold it more securely. Both are 10mm shank size. SDS MAX is 18mm shank size, so SDS Max bits are not interchangeable with SDS or SDS Plus. The SSI SDS Hammer Bit is not a SDS MAX driver.
10/4: We have made a few changes... VIDEO LINK
The SSI SDS Hammer drill bit is a must have for anyone who helps setup outdoor matches.
It fits any Hammer Drill that uses SDS or SDS Plus bits. The nail alignment sleeve will accept nail heads up to 7/8".

F*** Hammers
Remember having to hammer down nails while building stages before you shoot? Those days are gone. I’d post a video, so instead you’ll have to trust me. This is the easiest $40 + tool you’ll ever decide to buy.

Works very well
I have the first iteration and the second iteration at my club. They work very well. We are using Ryobi hammer drills with them. Makes driving nails so much easier. When the ground is soft, it's slightly slower than a hammer or slide hammer, but it's far lower impact on your body.

Absolutely Incredible!
This product works as advertised. I'm able to drive 8" nails into compacted gravel. Per Nathan at SSI I paired this bit up with a Dewalt DCH133B powered by 20V 5aH batteries. Word on the street is you can lay down and average 6-stage local with just one battery. So far it appears this entire rig is lighter than most sledge hammers and slide hammers and unlike a slide hammer this doesn't seem to mind if the nail shank is bent or if the head is badly deformed. Just like using a hammer or a drill, you want to go slow at first to ensure the nail is going into the ground straight but once it's started you can go FULL SEND. Just lean on it with your own weight and let it do the work. It's that easy! Will try to come back here and give a long term review once I have some time and mileage on this set up. Lastly, I want to say that Nathan and the team at SSI provided phenomenal customer service. He answered all my questions promptly and provided photos and videos. Even those these were out of stock when I first contacted him, he told me when they would be back in stock, which ended up being accurate, then he not only personally notified me via email but also by text! I missed the email that day, but not the text, and luckily was able to purchase (4) to try out. Amazing product and great buying experience. Big fan!

SDS Hammer Drill Bit
As a Match Director for a USPSA club, I strongly recommend this item as part of your setup tool set. A solidly made bit that makes stage setups with a hammer drill super easy. The spring loaded feature is great to get onto and stay on spikes while driving them down.

SDS
Everything from Shooting Sports Innovation is top shelf this hammer drill bit is no exception. it is well designed and works better than expected. The SSI innovative twist allows for driving spikes flush which is not possible with off-the-shelf pin drivers another excellent product!
