SSI Tungsten Slug for GLOCK

$239.00

5-29-2025:  We just got our first bad review.  FYI.. please look inside your frame before installing this plug.  There are reports of some rear trigger blocks being long and protrude into the same cavity the tungsten needs to go.  So you would trim the rear trigger block before final installation of the Tungsten plug.  Until we meet again.. happy pew pew.

5-13-2025:  Inventory is getting smoked and the Ben Stoeger Pro Shop hasn't restocked yet.  I'll keep them coming as long as they last.  Thank you all for the support and kind words!!

5-6-2025:  As we continue to restock and keep orders flowing, we are releasing the Limited edition of a special alloy.  These parts are very special as they weight over 5 ounces each.  Not trying to confuse anyone, just giving options.

This grip weight is fully CNC machined out of Tungsten.  The preinstalled Nylon GRIP PLUG keeps it all togeather and cleans up the reload path into the magwell.  This weight is the heaviest ever made and will put the weight where it needs to be, in the grip of your hand.  If you are looking to get that competitive edge to better control recoil and have a functional GRIP PLUG then here is your solution.  Dot shooters reports: the dot stays in the window.

CUSTOMERS WITH MAGWELLS:  We stopped the tungsten at the fastener hole and the feedback we have from customers is... I shot it without my magwell and it felt so good!!!  I didn't want to reduce weight so I just flat sanded the magwell mounting plug to just touch the SSI Tungsten slug.  So MANY customers are modifying the magwell mounting plug to work and are very happy.

USPSA Maximum allowable weight Production Division is 59 oz with mag inserted
USPSA Maximum allowable weight Carry Optics Division is 59 oz with  mag inserted.

...  As we have worked through suppliers of material and local CNC shops,  The slug that you get may look different than pictured and could weigh more than advertised.  Fit and function is not a problem.

Brings a great balance to my Glocks

I have been running the SSI Tungsten slug in my USPSA G47 since September and with over 8000 rounds through it and I love this gun more than my much more expense "competition" guns in part due to the weight and balance with the tungsten slug. My G47 shoots flat and my dot never leaves the window. I'm going to get a backup G47 and will be ordering another tungsten slug.

Cracked the frame on my new G34

The screw that holds the plug in does not align with the hole in the frame. The video on the YouTube channel says the screw is supposed to be a little bit off to keep it snug. I pressed the plug into the frame as hard as I could, in an attempt to align the screw with the hole and backed the screw out per the installation video. The alignment of the screw is so far off that the frame cracked right below the screw due to the tension it puts on the frame. I’m extremely unhappy. Brand new G34 that Glock has now discontinued and the frame is cracked. I would have expected much better from a $250 part. In my opinion, something other than a crazy amount of tension should keep the bolt tight, like a recessed nylon locknut, but what do I know.
