Design intent:
Design a sleek, one piece design that doesn't require latches, set screws or sticky push pins. A "no tools required" design that isn't just another copy.
Design an original basepad that fits STI Gen1, STI Gen2, SV and Rescomp magazine tubes touching the EGW USPSA 171.25/141.25 Gauge (Ref: APPENDIX E1 USPSA NROI Rule Book). One size fits all calibers of 170, 155, 140mm tubes. Does not fit ALL MBX magazines. MBX compatibility has mixed results, old MBX vs new MBX. MBX tube tabs can be narrowed to work. Mag feed lip tuning on all tubes may be required to lay perfectly in the gauge. The Nitro Pad design maximizes mag capacity.
Designed for comfort.. Ever have a super fast, high stress reload that hurt your precious palm? The Nitro Pad footprint is as small as possible while featuring a big corner radius. A "close to tube" design ensures you grab the magazine off the belt without interference from the basepad. As a bonus, the open back design allows debris to fall freely from your mag to reduce cleaning time.
The Nitro Pad works with ALL magwells commercially available for the 2011 and 2011 clone pistols. This includes the many deep radiused Limcat copies.

Nitro Pads
I have been using this product on my gen1 STI tubes with grams guts and all I can say is I am impressed. Having had the dawson and tti pads in the past I really like the easy on easy off tool less removal. Give them a try!

EXCELLENT
These pads are easy to get on. And just as easy to get off for quick cleaning. Very slick looking, machined great, strong and very lightweight. I can get 20 rds in no problem with STI tubes and Gram guts. 21 is tight but still doable. These will be the only pads I'll run for the simplicity of them. I highly recommend them.

By far one of the best designs to date. Easy on and off for cleaning and can take a lot of abuse. From dropping them on match day as well as practice day. Thanks, Nathan for a product I will purchase again.

No Tools, Simple, Effective
Love these base pads. Installed on my Gen 1 STI tubes with Grams guts. Get 20 reloadable and 21 (tight) non-reloadable They pop right on a stay put without tools or pins. Recommend.

Used in only one match so far. Very easy to remove and appeared hold all remaining rounds securely after being dropped during the reload. 21 rounds reloadable with a new SV mag, Bolen follower and springs. 20 rounds reloadable with new and old style STI mags, Grams followers and springs. Won't fit the old style SV mags without trimming. Still need to see how they hold up compared to the 8 year old Dawson +1 SNL base pads that are still holding up and running strong.
